Basil Williams All-Native Basketball Tournament

The Basil Williams All-Native Basketball Tournament, founded in 2002, is dedicated to celebrating athletic excellence, cultural pride, and community spirit among Native athletes across Turtle Island. Inspired by late Basil Williams’ instrumental leadership in establishing youth sports within the Seneca Nation of Indians, our tournament provides a welcoming and empowering platform for Native teams to compete, connect, and honor their heritage. We strive to foster unity, sportsmanship, and personal growth, while promoting positive youth development and strengthening the bonds among Indigenous communities for generations to come.
